Janet’s Seashell Beret Hat

  • by

Yesterday I was going through my photo library and I came across these pictures of Janet wearing the Seashell Beret Hat by Felicity Ward. She made this hat for last year’s Woodstock Fleece Festival. Here are a few things I’d like you to know about Janet, she:

  • is one of my dearest friends
  • is extremely supportive, helpful and kind
  • loves fun and adventure
  • is a yarnaholic (like yours truly)
  • is supportive in so many ways, including helping me set up and run the shows I am in
  • loves knitting and weaving
  • has the best smile

Our booth at Woodstock was in one of the barns. We had heard that it could get quite cold in there so we decided to knit ourselves some hats for the event. Janet choose to make her Seashell Beret with my donegal yarn in the colorway Warmth

I love the uniqueness of this yarn, it’s great for socks, shawls, sweaters and hats! Have a peak at MaryAnn’s socks she made from the same yarn in the colorway Berrylicious. I currently have a similiar colorway available called Berrylicious Sprinkle.

I’ll blog about the hat I made for the festival next week. In the meantime, stay safe and happy knitting!
