Woolstock 2021, here we come! Mark October 16th on your calendar and plan a road trip to Paris, Ontario. This year’s event will take place at the Paris Fairgrounds located at 139 Silver Street, in Paris.
I’ve been busy with my dye pans and that has put a smile on my face and a spring in my step. It’s been such a rewarding process, playing with colour and achieving some really wonderful results. I’m bringing along new colourways like Jelly Beans, Renewal, Potpourri and Mystic as well as some old favourites like Bewitched, Black Magic, Fiesta, Majestic Lake Huron and Harvest Apple to highlight a few.
Woolstock (formerly known as Woodstock Fibre Festival) is an annual event for creatives and fibre lovers alike. This year vendors will be spread out over three buildings. Please take a moment to visit the vendor’s page on Woolstock’s web site to see who this year’s participants will be. I’ll be in the AgriPlex Building. See map —>
Please be assured that this year’s event will adhere to all provincial COVID 19 protocols. All vendors and their helpers, volunteers and organizers are doubly vaccinated and will wear masks for the duration of the event. Booths will also be physically distanced. Visitors will be requested to show proof of vaccination, keep physical distance and be required to wear masks throughout their time at the event.
Here is a sneak peak of some of the colourways I’ll be bringing with me this weekend. Please remember: I dye in limited quantities so don’t delay getting to my booth. Alternately, you can pre-shop online and mark your order for pickup and I will have your yarn waiting for you at my booth! Just indicate your intentions during checkout by adding an order note indicating you would like to pick up your yarn at Woolstock.
I hope to see you at Woolstock. Stay safe and happy knitting!
