I’ve recently completed my Easy Goes It Shawl by Finicky Creations. The pattern is a free download on Ravelry. It was a fun and easy to knit. The shawl grew quickly and there was enough variation in the pattern sections to keep it from getting boring. I knit the majority of this shawl while in the car, in the good old days when we could still go places!
I chose to knit this shawl in my SW Merino, Cashere and Nylon yarn. This yarn is very soft and lovely to knit with. After experimenting with a new dying technique I wanted to see how it would knit up. I absolutely love the results. Knitting with the little pops of color was fun. What do you think of this technique?
The day my husband and I took these pictures it was incredibly windy outside. My hair was an absolute blown-about mess. Because my Photoshop skills aren’t too advanced I had to crop off my head in the pictures.
I am looking for grey yarn to make a shawl for my daughter. I will need about 350g or thereabouts because the shawl I made for myself is BIG.
Would you have some yarn I could purchase that would be suitable? Can be tweed or somewhat variegated but subtle.
Thank you for your assistance. ( I can come and pick it up…I live in Kincardine)

Hi Virginia, I will be adding grey yarn to my shop in the next couple of days. I will send you an email with the links to the skeins. Have a great day!
