While getting ready to attend the Kawartha Yarn and Fibre Festival, I decided to photograph some of my yarns for my Facebook and Instagram accounts. I thought it would be fun make up some ‘Find Your Fade’ combinations with my yarn. If you are planning on attending the festival I urge you to visit my booth early to get the best selection of yarn.
I’m a small indie dyer and I dye my yarn in small batches. I don’t often repeat my colourways. Experimenting with colour is my joy and life is too short to keep dying the same colours over and over again. I want to try new colour combinations and live boldly. The benefit for my costumers is that they get unique, luxurious yarn for their one-of-a-kind hand-made projects.
