I’m happy to announce that I have finally gotten back to my dyeing. My wrist is healed enough to lift the heavy pots and excitement is stirring within me as I look forward to the upcoming fibre festivals this season. I held a little naming challenge on my Facebook and Instagram accounts for two of my newly created yarn babies. The choice of names were Mermaid and Tropicana. After a few days of voting on each platform, Mermaid was clearly the favourite name for this bright and cheerful colorway. Tropicana was chosen by some and I will definitely be using this name sometime soon. Others were quite creative coming up with their own names for this yarn, suggestions included Open Surf, Sea Kelp, Under the Sea, Tidal Pool, and Sea Glass. I like all these names and will use them as colorways are created that match that description. Thank you to everyone who helped in the naming process.
