South Beach Yarn Co Update

  • by

I’ve decided to slow things down at South Beach Yarn Co this summer. My beautiful grand babies are growing ever too quickly and are now at the age when they come to Oma’s house without mom and dad for extended periods of time. I want to take full of advantage of that this summer. So instead of immersing myself in the business of soaking, dying, drying, skeining, naming, labeling, photographing and promoting my yarn, I will be playing with my grandchildren. This summer I will be hosting sleepovers, building sand castles, playing in the park, attending their sporting events and anything else that I might be privileged to be invited to. I can’t wait to make more precious memories with these little girls that have utterly and completely stolen my heart.

I have two yarn shows booked this year. One is coming up this weekend in Fergus. The Fergus Fibre Festival is May 25 in downtown Fergus from 9:30 – 4:30. Admission is free and there will be over 60 fabulous vendors. I hope you’ll take the opportunity to check out the show. The other show I will be participating in this year is Woolstock happening at the end of the fibre festival season. Woolstock will be happening October 19 at the Paris Fairgrounds. The show runs from 9 to 4 and admission is $10.

Hoping you have a wonderful summer making sweet memories to keep your heart warm through the long cold winter.

  1. What a wonderful summer you will have with these precious little ones. What an excellent way to build memories with and in them and share your love for the Lord and His creation. ENJOY!!!!!!! Wish I could join you for some of it.
